Specifications
All the country flag patches offered in Globenir are sized 6.3 x 3.6 cm. They can be either ironed on or embroidered, according to your liking.
Here are the steps for attaching them:
- Turn on your ironing machine to its highest heat setting to make sure the patch adheres properly to your fabric.
- Place your patch on the marked spot on your fabric, place a thin cloth on top of your patch, and iron for 30 seconds.
- Let it cool down for 30 seconds.
- Repeat step 2 and 3 if the patch did not stick.
About the Flag
"The Iranian flag is made up of three equal-sized horizontal stripes, the upper stripe is green, the middle white and the lower stripe is red. There are stylized writings on the edges of the white ribbon.
In the center of the white stripe and in the center of the flag, there is a symbol of the dynasty, consisting of four crescent and a sword. The green ribbon symbolizes Islam and white represents purity and peace. Blood red symbolizes bravery.
11 pieces below and 11 pieces above, Islamic calligraphy “Allahu Akbar (God) is the greatest” is written. This represents the day of the February 11, 1979 Iranian Revolution. Its coat of arms symbolizes the strength and fortitude and the greatness of the Muslim faith. The emblem as a whole is read as Allah." (source: mappr)
