Specifications
All the country flag patches offered in Globenir are sized 6.3 x 3.6 cm. They can be either ironed on or embroidered, according to your liking.
Steps for attachment:
- Turn on your ironing machine to its highest heat setting to make sure the patch adheres properly to your fabric.
- Place your patch on the marked spot on your fabric, place a thin cloth on top of your patch, and iron for 30 seconds.
- Let it cool down for 30 seconds.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 if the patch did not stick.
About the Flag
"The flag is composed of green, yellow and red colors in three horizontal stripes from top to bottom. In the center of the flag is the coat of arms of the country consisting of five-pointed stars and light. The green color symbolizes the country’s fertile land, while the yellow color expresses love for its homeland, while the red color expresses power and the spilled blood in the battle against the oppression.
In the middle of the flag, the blue ground within the circle embraces peace and democracy, the five-pointed star symbolizes all ethnic groups, sexes, and beliefs in the country, while the five equal-length beam is an indicator of Ethiopia’s bright future." (source: mappr)
